Ms. Dionne Dansby-Clark
Biography
Dionne Dansby-Clark has been selected as the new Assistant Principal of Ramstein Middle School in Ramstein, Germany. She is transitioning from Smith Elementary School in Baumholder, Germany and is excited for this new opportunity to serve the students, staff, and U.S. Air Force Ramstein community within the Europe East District.
Ms. Dansby-Clark was born in Honolulu, Hawaii during her father’s Air Force assignment and grew up mainly in Abilene, Texas. She attended and graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2002 with a B.S Degree in Psychology and Biology and began working on her teacher certification shortly after. In 2011, Ms. Dansby-Clark earned her M.S. Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in School Counseling from Tarleton State University. She completed a Principal Certification program at Lamar University in 2014, and she is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University – Commerce.
Ms. Dansby-Clark’s career in education began in Fort Worth Independent School District in 2002, teaching High School Integrated Physics and Chemistry and Environmental Science. She taught the majority of her teaching career teaching Middle School Mathematics and Science, and in 2012 she began her school counseling career at a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program at a High School in Fort Worth ISD. It was 2016 when Ms. Dansby-Clark began working with DoDEA. First, as a School Counselor at Landstuhl Elementary Middle School. In 2017, Ms. Dansby-Clark began her career in administration at Smith Elementary School in Baumholder, Germany as an Assistant Principal. Throughout her educational career, she has worked diligently to enhance learning experiences of students, building and maintaining strong relationships, and fostering a positive school climate for all stakeholders.
Ms. Dansby-Clark believes educational success involves continual collaboration, mentorship, and motivation amongst all educational stakeholders and aspires to continue to positively impact students, teachers, and parents to promote student success. She is dedicated to providing multi-tiered, targeted support to meet the needs of students, ensuring they are empowered and equipped to progress and adjust as necessary as they prepare to succeed in a dynamic world.
Ms. Dansby-Clark is supported and accompanied by her husband and five children. Mr. Clark retired from the Air Force during his tour in Ramstein, Germany, and her children have attended Ramstein schools since 2016. The family is excited to work with Mr. Buckley and the Ramstein Middle School faculty and staff as a part of an established and revered team that has made Ramstein Middle School the best place to learn and work in DoDEA!
